Hear the stories of some of the workers from the DESA factory

After months of silence from the Italian luxury brand, the workers at DESA have once again appealed to Prada to support them in their efforts to organise a trade union at the factory. Until now they have received no response.

Below is a copy of the letter they sent. You can support them. Send a letter to Prada and the other DESA buyers by clicking on the Act Now! button above.

Emine Arslan worked at the DESA's Sefakoy factory for eight years in the control department. Recognised as a hard working, experienced member of staff, she is popular with other workers. She was dismissed after joining the union to stand up for herr rights and those of other workers. In the following months Emine campaigned hard, protesting every day outside the factory. As a result she was constantly harassed and members of her family were threatened.

This is her story.
