Labour Behind the Label is calling on Primark to reverse its decision to cut and run from three Indian suppliers in advance of a BBC Panorama investigation. Panorama has reportedly uncovered the widespread use of subcontracting in the manufacture of embroidered goods, including the employment of home workers under extremely bad conditions and possible instances of child labour.Tell your MP you want a fair olympics

In three easy steps
Labour Behind the Label and the TUC are calling on the organisers of the London 2012 Olympic Games to make sure that workers producing merchandise for the Games have their rights respected. The organisers have made some commitments, but we are not yet sure that this will translate into really raising the bar on workers' rights.

Stop repression of Bangladeshi labour rights groups

Use this form to call on the bangladeshi government to end the repression of labour rights activists. Thanks to concerted pressure from human and labour rights activists around the world, the Bangladeshi authorities released Mehedi Hasan from custody on Sunday, February 3rd. The outcome of the case is an enormous relief, but Hasan's arrest is a reminder that worker rights advocates in Bangladesh are under serious threat.
